Tomatillo Guacamole

15 minutes prep, plus 45 minutes refrigerationTomatillo Guacamole definitely has a kick! The vibrant green color of the tomatillos combined with the pale green of the avocados will liven up any plate, as well as your tastebuds.

Ingredients:
- 3 avocados – peeled, pitted, and mashed
- 3 tomatillos, husked and chopped
- 1 red onion, finely chopped
- 3 roma (plum) tomatoes, seeded and chopped
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 3 drops hot pepper sauce
- salt and pepper to taste
Get Started:
Step 1: In a medium bowl, mix avocados, tomatillos, red onion, roma tomatoes, and lime juice.
Step 2: Season with red pepper flakes, hot pepper sauce, and salt and pepper.
Step 3: Cover, and refrigerate at least 45 minutes before serving.
