Basic Guacamole

20 minutesThere are as many recipes for making guacamole as there are varieties of avocado, neddless to say, a lot. Here's a recipe to get you started. Feel free to add or subtract according your tastes.
Ingredients:
- 4 ripe avocados, peeled and cut in half
- 2 cloves of garlic, crushed
- 4 Serrano peppers, halved, seeded and minced
- 1 red jalapeno pepper, halved, seeded and minced
- ½ cup of chopped cilantro
- juice from ½ a lemon
- salt to taste
Get Started:
Step 1: Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl and mash, using a fork or in a molcajete (Mexican mortar and pestle) until you’ve reached the desired consistency.
Step 2: Serve in a bowl alongside your favorite tortilla chips or other snack item.
